It already has a high visibility and influence before the date of trademark application against it. The subject part of the trademark opposed, "Poetry Conference", has the same composition as the text of the trademark, and is designated to be used in the audience of the column of "Chinese Poetry Conference", which is the service reputation of "periodicals and magazines". If the opponent attempts to gain the popularity and influence of the column of "Chinese Poetry Conference", the potential business interests and trading opportunities of the opponent will be impaired, and the legitimate interests of the opponent will be harmed. Therefore, the Trademark Office ruled that it violated Article 32 of the Trademark Law, that is, it damaged the prior rights of others, and the objection was upheld.
